The WorkTeam of the Residence is a group of people specialized in art and social sciences, with studies, production and research on gender and sexuality.

Research coordinators

The people in charge of the research coordination of the ESPACIO DE FALA Residence will accompany you throughout the process, opening a space for participation, debate and joint learning.

These people will dictate a general seminar on contemporary art in relation to gender and sexuality, and will guide your work process 3 days a week.

These people are Latin American specialists with a long history with studies, field work, production and research in contemporary art.

Crític, Curator and art researcher.

Specialist in art system, local scenes and autonomous management of art, economy and art market.

Degree in Curation and History of the Arts (UMSA).

Colombia

Artist and art worker

Degree in Visual Arts with Graphic Emphasis (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana)

 

 

Master Classes

Throughout the Residency we will have two Master Classes taught by Latin American specialists with a long history with multidisciplinary studies and research in art, philosophy, art history, gender studies and racial studies.

Class 1: Interseccionality – Blas Radi (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Class 2: Raciality – Luciara Ribeiro (São Paulo, Brazil)

Blas radi

Professor of Philosophy (UBA) and human rights activist. He is a professor in the Chatedra of Gnoseology and Feminist Philosophy (UBA) and co-coordinator of the Free Chatedra of Trans * Studies.

Luciara Ribeiro

Curator, educator and researcher. She has a Master’s Degree in Art History (USAL, Spain, 2018), Graduated in Art History (UNIFESP, 2014), with an exchange at USAL (Spain, 2012). She has a technical degree in Museology (ETEC, 2015).
