ABOUT RESIDENCIES.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

For each residence we implement a Public Open Call approximately 6 months before the residency.

They are aimed at visual artists, art researchers, cultural researchers, historians, art and culture managers, and people interested in the subject.

In our Open call we do not request curriculum vitae or work portfolio, only answer some questions related to the work theme of each residence.

For the selection of the participants we just consider the quality of the answers received. We do not distinguish gender, ethnicity, religion or social class.

The languages used during the residency are Spanish, Portuguese and English.

WHAT DO WE DO?

The Residencies of Contemporary Art organized by Cooperativa de Arte are an instance of group and collaborative work of debate and reflection on contemporary art, that we carry out periodically in several Latin American countries, the duration is between 12 and 17 days each and have a specific work theme.

HOW MUCH IT COST?

The residences are a self-managed activity, so they have a participation fee of US$950 per person (each residence) that includes: Work Program, Shared Bedroom and Breakfast. Does not include passages from and to the place of residence.

A Letter of Invitation is extended to those who were selected for the management funds and work permits.

A Certificate of Participation will be extended to all residents.
